As it seems in most years with the Kansas Crappie spawn, just as things get going good and fishable pattern sets in Mother Nature says… not so fast my friend. The hard part is being a Kansan you can’t tell her to stop when we have been so dry for so long. We just have to take our lumps and keep going. The spawns seems to be about half done but with most of the eastern lake in the state of KS up from 5 to 24 ft it’s just going to be a funky spawn. ~ Nick
