The New Tandem Fly

Recently I learned that good friend of the outdoorsman Kris Nelson started his old fly fishing company back up running down in Branson Mo. For those of you that know I love to fly fish I couldn’t get down there fast enough to reconnect with our old friend. A co-worker and I where lucky enough this last Friday to find an opening in Kris’s schedule where he could spend a couple of hours on the water with him showing what Tanycomo in Branson MO has to offer. With a very ominous forecast for thunderstorms we braved the water and spend a couple hours casting midges and streamers up and down the river looking for trout.

As all things outdoorsman storm after storm rolled by messing with fish and rain gear. Kris worked his tail off for us getting into several really nice fish. Although our time with him was short due to weather the bite was very enjoyable and Kris as always had some great stories. It was good to catch up with him and great to see his business taking off again. If your looking for a good time on the water look Kris up at www.tandemflyoutfitters.net you won’t be disappointed. ~ Nick
