After cleaning Fish day one our Capt Ron was worried that with as many boats as there was on the pickets the trout would be cleaned out by the next day. So after a 2 hour nap Ron woke us up and said grab a pillow, where sleeping on the boat tonight. I have heard about fishing trout under the light of a rig so I was actually excited to give it a try, the sleeping on a boat part not so much… but when in Rome you go with the flow. Around 7 pm we head off to hit the rigs right at Sunset. I am not going to lie, that was one of the longest nights of my life. We spent the rest of the evening fishing and moving around with few fish and little sleep for me. As the sun broke on day two the bite just didn’t materialize like we hoped, Capt was right, the trout where gone and boats where back. Shortly after sunrise we opted to try and find a few bulls but as tired as we all where we only did that for a few hours with limited success. To say the least it was a short day for us on the water.
