It seems every time we want to go drift for blue cats at Truman lake one very important component needed to fish seems to take the day off… WIND. So knowing the forecast called for light to no wind in the middle of summer in MO our plan was to power troll for blue cat. Now let me explain. Power trolling for Blue cat is where you cast all of your usual drift baits out the back of a boat and then use a trolling motor to move around the lake fishing where you want. As an added twist we decided to add a few planer boards to the mix… Trying something new for us is never a problem. So off we went, trolling 12 rods out the back of one boat…
